Ajita Maheswari is a passionate freelance makeup artist, a proud mother of two, and a homemaker who discovered that it is never too late to follow your dreams. A Gold Medalist in Home Science Honours, Ajita has always been naturally drawn to colours, beauty and creativity — even as a teenager, she had a gifted and steady hand for makeup.

After marriage she embraced the beautiful journey of motherhood and devoted more than two decades to her family and home. At 44, she gave her long-held passion a new beginning — training as a Certified Cosmetologist at Lakmé Academy and turning her love for makeup into a profession. Today she runs her own home studio in Navi Mumbai as a freelance makeup artist, with a loyal clientele built on artistry, warmth and a personal approach.

For Ajita, makeup is not about changing who you are — it is about celebrating who you already are. She takes equal pride in being a homemaker and a makeup artist, proving that dreams do not have an expiry date.
